Hello!

I am an educator with over 15 years of experience in the field of education teaching Pre-K- 3rd grade in various educational settings throughout Fairfield County, CT and New York City.

I am Orton-Gillingham trained and have experience supporting students with structured literacy and developing engaging, individualized, multi-sensory lessons that are tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Throughout my years of teaching, I discovered what I really LOVE to do is teach young children how to read! In addition to supporting students’ literacy skill development, I aim to help them become strong, confident and independent readers and writers by teaching them effective strategies!

My goal is to reach all types of readers and help with developing and enhancing their literacy skills while boosting their confidence with reading. I’m dedicated to helping your child enhance their literacy skills and support struggling readers.

I use a structured literacy approach, which involves a direct, explicit, multi-sensory, systematic approach to learning how to read in a sequential order following a scope and sequence of skills. This highly effective and engaging approach aligns with the Science of Reading method and research-based phonics programs.
